About Us
Arts, Commerce and Science College in Alkuti, Parner began operating in 2004 with 7 teachers and 160 students in the F.Y. BA & B.Com department. With time, we have amplified into an institute of 11 departments and 24 teachers handling the educational responsibility of B.A. B.Com. B.Sc. M.Com and M.Sc of 850 students in 2022-23.
With one well-furnished central library and 5 well equipped laboratories, our students have all the facilities to quench their thirst for knowledge and execute their creativity.
Spread over 13.2 acres that includes 5 acres sports ground, the college focuses on sports and co-curricular activities in equal measure for overall development of students.
In keeping with the overall obligation to social responsibility, college students participate in Paani Foundation Camp, cleaning of Historical Places, Save Girl Child, and Clean India: Green India. Moreover, our students are actively involved in Nadi Parikrama Shibir, Sangamner and Parner Festival organized by Janseva Foundation, Pravaranagar.

It is indeed a great pleasure to be a head of the most dynamic and developing rural collage. Loknete Dr. Balasaheb Vikhe Patil (Padma Bhushan Awardee) Pravara Rural Education Society's Arts, Commerce & Science College, Alkuti was established in 4th August 2004 by the great vision of Late Padma Bhushan Shri. Balasaheb Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil. The institution offers 3 years undergraduate degree programs viz. Bachelor of Arts in Marathi, Hindi, English, Economics, Geography, Bachelor of Commerce in Banking & Finance and Cost and Works Accounting and Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. Institution offers Post Graduation degree programs in Commerce viz. Advanced Banking and Finance and Post Graduation degree programs in Science viz. Organic Chemistry.
Curriculum offered by the institution is highly relevant to the present needs of the society and aimed at on personality and carver development of students. The institution is committed to impart quality and value based education to the students which help them in gaining knowledge and employment. The institution has highly qualified and experience teachers well equipped laboratories library, gymnasium and spacious playground. The institution has NSS unit and also conducts various extension activities under it. The soft skill Development program is conducted for overall development of the student. The institution has ‘Earn and learns’, ‘Book Bank’ and ‘Poor Boys Fund’ Schemes for economically and socially backward students. For counseling and recognizing the need of students, institution has started Teacher-student’s guardian scheme with and objective of equipping our student and teacher to compete in global knowledge based society, the institution has started restructuring every component of education. i. e. learning, teaching, and extension to make it more relevant and useful to the society. Students and staff are provided with broadband internet facility. The institution has begun virtual learning center (VLC) to access recent knowledge and information.
